Peace Corps Paraguay

I served in Paraguay from 1993-1995 in a small town called Torin - San Antonio.  My work focused on improving overall health and quality of life for members of the community.  Special emphasis was placed on improving nutrition, sanitation and water quality.

Peace Corps was a wonderful experience.  Sharing everyday life with the Paraguayan people was amazing. They are extremely generous and love to laugh.  I have so many great memories of conversations shared while drinking mate or terere.
